不妊治療の仕事をしていてとても興味深いのは、遺伝子が引き継がれていくということです。
PGSはPGDとよく混同されることがあります。
しかし両者には決定的な違いがあります。
PGSが胚の染色体が正常かどうかをテストする方法であるのに対し、
PGDは胚の遺伝性の疾患をみつけるために、胚の中の遺伝子異常を調べるものなのです。
私たちのクリニックでは、最近ではほとんどの患者さんにPGSを行っています。

So one of the fascinating things in our field is that the way genetics is really taking over.
And (Preimplantation Genetic Screening) PGS, also in a changeably sometimes used with PGD (Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis).
However that completely different what PGS is the way of testing an embryo to make sure the chromosomal normal that differentiates from PGD which is Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis which is really looking for a genetic disorder in that embryo so gene defect.
So with the most our patients these days, we are doing PGS (Preimplantation Genetic Screening).
